Better sense prevails on TN Govt.

via Haran.B.R published on December 10, 2006

As per the warning issued by the Director General of Police, the Tamil Nadu police have arrested most of the DK & TPDK activists, who have indulged in vandalism & violence at the places of worship, and put them behind bars on “National Security Act”. The Hindu anger was quite visible through out the state yesterday, thanks to the various protests organized by the BJP and sensing the mood of the people, the state government has impressed upon the police to remove the name of His Holiness Shri Dhayananda Saraswathi from the FIR. It is to be noted here that, the Revered Spiritual Guru Shri. Shri. Ravishankar, who is in Chennai for a massive conglomeration has also conveyed his regrets on the inclusion of His Holiness’s name in the FIR, through the media.

In the meantime, sensing trouble & obstacle in the opening of the statue, the DK had hurriedly unveiled the bronze statue of EVR yesterday itself under the leadership of ‘chameleon’ Veeramani, without much fanfare. EVR was dead against the Hindu Gods & Temples, particularly Chidambaram Nataraja Temple & Srirangam Ranganathaswami Temple and he wanted them to be demolished by canon fire. It is an irony & quite amusing that; his followers have placed him in front of the same Temple, as if he is praying before Lord Ranganathaswami, permanently.

This episode has to be considered as a God given opportunity by all the Hindu outfits and they should now work hard to unite all the Hindus and enlighten them on the uselessness of the Dravidian movement and the sheer wastage of 40 years by them, during which time, the state had reached the lowest possible limits spiritually & culturally.
