‘Betrayers’ Expelled from BJP

: BJP expelled Eight MP’s who supported UPA or abstained during Trust vote defying party whip. If there was no cross voting by NDA MP’s Government would have lost the trust vote


 

BJP leader Advani also requested Speaker to disqualify the expelled MP’s from Lok Sabha for violation of party whip.The name of MP’s expelled half of whom abstained from voting were announced by BJP President Rajnath Singh  


 

The expelled are Brijbhushan Sharan Singh (Balrampur- UP), Manjunath (Dharwad-Karnataka), Chandrabhan Singh (Damoh-MP), H T Sangliana (Bangalore north-Karnataka), Manorama Madhwaraj(Udipi-Karnataka), Haribhav Madhav Rathod  (Jalgaon-Maharashtra ), Babubhai Katara(Dohad- Gujarat and SomabhaiPatel (Surendranagar-Gujarat).


 

Haribhau Rathod, who was among the several BJP MPs who had defied the whip, said the doors of the Congress and the NCP were open to him in case the BJP takes action against him.
