Arjun Singh warns ban on educational institutions run by RSS
NEW DELHI : The master of pseudo secularism in the country and the Union HRD Minister Arjun Singh today warned that the government is considering a total ban on education institutions runs by Rashtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh. He said the government is planning to take action against the Saraswati Shishu Mandir chain of schools across the country runs by RSS affiliated organization Vidya Bharati.
Vidya Bharati, the largest non-Governmental educational Organisation of the country today is running 18,789 schools, with 24 lakh students and a staff strength of 98,700.
Tthe HRD Minister did not disclose the real reason behind the move but he hinted that it was recommended by Advisory Board for Education (CABE).
Singh was speaking to reporters after a NSUI function here today. He said during the recent past, the RSS educational institutions have ‘damaged’ the education system a lot by promoting Hindutva ideology. He said the government would take all necessary steps to stop the march of Hindutva forces in the country.
