Agni III to be launched in 2007
BANGALORE: India’s indigenously developed Agni III missile will be launched in 2007, scientific advisor to Defence Minister M Natarajan announced today.
Speaking to newsmen here, he said the failure of the missile on July nine last was related to materials and it had been rectified.
Work was in full progress and there was no problem with regard to navigation, control and any of the mechanical aspects. Asked about the exact date for the launch he said he did not want to set exact date. The missile was designed to cover a range of 3500 kilometres.
