via HK Correspondent published on February 26, 2007

Varanasi:Within days after the Samjhotha blast, Another deadly suitcase bomb containing 15 explosive devices has been found on an Sealdah-Varanasi Express on Feb 22nd. These deadly bombs were planted in the train bound to Varanasi, The Holy Temple town in UP.

Police said passengers aboard the train noticed two abandoned suitcases near a toilet and immediately raised the alarm. After breaking open the suitcases, five powerful and 10 so-called “crude” bombs and material for making them were found in one suitcase, police said. The other contained non-lethal items. The bombs were defused and no arrests have been made.

Varanasi was the the target of a deadly terrorist bombing attack which triggered of in Sankat Mochan temple almost a year ago that killed almost 30 people and injured more than 100. That turned out to be the work of the Pakistani-based, al-Qaeda linked Islamic militant group Lashkar-e-Toiba.

As usual Mainstream media hidden it inside the pages as a two coloumn news . If it has to catch the National Headlines ,there should be atleast more than 10 deaths in the blast ,otherwise for them it’s not even a news! The very media which discusses the aftermath of Godhra carnage even now, Purposefully sidelines  this recovery of deadly bombs from a train. May be because it was scheduled to Varanasi, A Hindu Temple Town
