The Tamilnadu unit of ABGP (Akhila Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat) prevented a catastrophe. The ABGP had represented on July 16, 2012 to the railway authorities to drop PAN card number from the list of ids required for Tatkal reservations in Indian Railways. Last week, the railways removed PAN card number from the list of ids required for Tatkal.
