Government of Karnataka is organizing Global Investors Meet on 3rd & 4th June, 2010 at Bangalore Palace Grounds.
The objective of the Government is to showcase the strengths and opportunities available in the fields of manufacturing, power engineering, aerospace, infrastructure, food processing, textile, tourism, information technology, biotechnology, etc.
The event would comprise of exhibition as well as seminars. The State Government would offer attractive package of incentives and concessions to the potential investors.
In the IT sector, there are plenty of opportunities for investors in the IT Investment Region (ITIR) proposed to be developed in the vicinity of Bangalore International Airport in an area covering about 40 sq.kms.
Investors in the IT, ITeS and Electronic Hardware manufacturing, would be offered either plots of land or built-up space in the ITIR, through single window mechanism. In the tier-II cities of Shimoga, Mysore,Mangalore and Gulbarga KEONICS, a Government of Karnataka undertaking under the administrative control of Department of IT, BT and S&T would be offering IT infrastructure projects such as IT Parks and related facilities for development/joint development.
IT units interested in setting up their operations in tier II cities will be offered a very attractive package of incentives and concessions in the IT Parks being developed by KEONICS.
