Thiruvananthapuram:Bharathiya Vichara Kendram Director, P. Parameswaran urged the Muslims in India to follow the path shown by Shri. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. He was speaking in the National Seminar as part of Guruji centenary celebrations in Thiruvananthapuram.

Instead of creating unnecessary controversies on Vandemataram, Indian Muslims should try to assimilate with the Indian culture and respect the rich cultural heritage of the Nation.

Abdul Kalam, visited Vivekananda Memorial in Kanyakumari and prayed in front of Sri RamaKrishna, Sarada Devi and Vivekananda without any hesitation. Those who recognize the fact that Indian Nationalism is synonymic with cultural heritage won’t find any harm in Singing Vandemataram nor lighting a lamp.

India is the safest place in the world for all religious minorities, opined Justice K.T.Thomas in the Seminar.Christians and Muslims are enjoying more liberty and Rights in India than any other Christian or Islamic nations. He was speaking on the topic ‘Nations in Globalized world’.
