Aahuti – The Untold Stories of Sacrifice in Kerala – eBook in English, Hindi and Malayalam
The first edition of “Aahuti” was released by Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi on 25 September 2016 at the National Council Meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party, Kozhikode.
The book release of Aahuti was rendered by the Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on 25 September 2016.
Paying obeisance to the Balidanis and hailing their efforts as a penance, Shri Narendra Modi pointed out in clear terms that violence is an undemocratic means, which should never be resorted to, just because one fails to tow in line with the ideology of another political faction. The helpless cries of the karyakartas of Kerala have probably not reached Delhi. But today, I urge our karyakartas not to treat Aahuti as just another book you received during your stay in Kerala. Instead, Aahuti should be debated upon and contemplated over, in all states of Bharat, at least in three or four places, so that the voice (of those who have been wronged) reach Delhi.
Shri Narendra Modi also urged the entire nation to stand up with the slain Karyakartas, for ‘their life and sacrifice remains exemplary and should serve as a catalyst in stirring awake the flames of democracy, over which intellectuals and other esteemed seers must ponder over.’
