Guruji Golwalkar Hindu Resource Center opens at Bangalore

In his special message to the spirited opening ceremony and meeting of the Hindu Resource Center, christened after the great spiritual and dynamic head of the RSS who turned the latent potential of the Patriotic Volunteer movement into a Nationalist force challenging the powers that be and effectively soon rose up to meet the myriad threats and challenges that beset the Hindu Society and the Hindu Homeland- Former Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana Justice Dr M.Rama Jois declares-

‘Vijaya Dashami” is the founding day of the great, unique and unparalleled organization the Rashtreya Swayam Sewak Sangh by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hegdewar which from its small beginning with only abouit a dozen of youths has grown into the biggest voluntary organization and is working in almost all spheres of human activity. It’s second Sarchangachalak Sadashiva Golwalkar, popularly known as ‘GURUJI” has been the greatest son of Bharatamata born in the twentieth century. He devoted every iota of his energy, every minute of his time in the service of Bharat mata namely creating men of character, patriots of the highest order and Hindu Sanghatan and has achieved remarkable success. I have had the benefit of his personal acquaintance for nearly three decades and was extremely fortunate as my house was sanctified by his staying in my house during his penultimate visit to Bangalore in 1972.

Bharat Mata Gurukulam Ashram inaugurated on December 1, 1999, is dedicated to the service of all those saints, sages, sadhus and mahatmas who adore and worship Mother Bharat.

The Ashram, is an abode for devote children of Mother Bharat, from inside the country and abroad, who reside in an atmosphere similar to the Gurukula, with simple living and high thinking, and acquire in depth knowledge of our ancient culture and spiritual wisdom to serve as missionaries in all parts of the world.

Having regard to the object and ideal of Bharat Mata Grukula Ashram, it is most appropriate that Sri Guruji Golwalkar Hindu Resource Centre is being established in the premises of Bharat Mata Mandir and is being inaugurated by poojaneeya Swami Harshananda.

I congratulate Sadu.Rangarajan for this most valuable venture and I pray Almighty to bless this Endeavour with astounding success.Swami Harshanadaji gave a soul inspiring speech that thrilled the audience in chaste and eloquent Kannada.

Recalling how under the inspiration of swami Akandananda’s initiation, Guruji Golwalkar undertook the life of a mendicant, still he dedicated his life for the larger cause of the Motherland, took over the leadership of RSS with his sterling character that left his stamp on the movement forever. He further underlined the dire need for Hindu unity and Dharma sangria. He urged upon the youth to enrich them by practicing Hindu ethos.

RSS Bhoudik Pramukh Nagarak Kshethra further echoed Vivekananda’s clarion call to the Nation’s youth –Retracing the biography of Guruji Golwalkar, he recollected how under his visionary leadership, the RSS had become the bulwark of Nationalist interests.Today hundreds of service organizations are today run by swayamsevaks striving towards this vision.

VHP Provincial Head Keshava Hegde summed up the grim challenge before our Hindu Nation and the need for many more such centers-

Elaborating the importance and epoch making verdict regarding ram Janma Bhoomi- he demonstrated how this would change the course of events by a larger Hindu awakening.

Swami Chandresananada of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sadhana Kendra, Bangalore-
Stressed the need for all Hindu organizations to coordinate their efforts and harmoniously work in a spirit of true brotherhood to stem the rot in our National life.

The Sadhuji Rangarajan addressing the gathering noted how under the inspiration of Paramapoojaneeya Sri Guruji Golwalkar, he started his career as a staunch worker of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and how he was determined to convert into concrete reality the long cherished bosom dream of Stalwarts of Hindu Renaissance of Bengal from Bankim Chandra and the Bhavani Mandir the cradle of Indian Revolutionaries, and the longing of Subramania Siva and today have  come to manifest and stand majestically as Sri Bharatamata Mandir at Srinivasa Nagar, Bangalore. He traced the evolution of Sister Nivedita Academy as an organization to spread the message of patriotism, nationalism and Hindu culture. Started in 1977, under the inspiration of Acharya J.B. Kripalani, the first publication of the Academy, Vande Mataram by Sadhu Rangarajan with a foreword of the Acharya, came out. Subsequently the Quarterly, TATTVA DARSANA was started with the blessings of Swami Chinmayananda was started and a series of publications including the Saga of Patriotism, presenting the biographies of eminent revolutionaries and freedom fighters were published. Sadhuji’s visits abroad brought ardent devotees from distant lands to come in search of the eternal wisdom of Bharatavarsha and the Bharatamata Gurukula Ashram was started in Bangalore in 1999 to enable devotees from abroad to stay and study in Bharat, Hindu culture and heritage. The Bharatamata Mandir was consecrated by the seer of Udipi Pejawar Mutt, Sri Vishwesha Theertah in the presence of Sri H.V. Seshadri, the former Sarkaryavah of RSS, in December 2004. Today the fulfillment of the dream of setting up Sri Guruji Golwalkar Hindu Resource Centre in the Mandir premises is the culmination of all these efforts. He also announced that a magnificent Gopura will come up on the top of Sri Bharatamata Mandir very soon.

The Nationalist gathering then spiritedly and resolutely sang Vande Mataram in one voice, heralding the approach of a new era of Hindu Renaissance.
