A Lesson to learn from the Church
Chennai: Church could do it in couple of days, what the unorganized lot of Hindus couldn’t do it for ages!
Every year during January it’s a usual practice in the Temple Town of Madurai to see the blasphemous posters of Hindu gods with the face of Azhagiri, Son of the Hindu baiter Karunanidhi. As usual, the protests of Hindus for such blasphemous depiction of their gods used to fall on deaf ears. Neither the authorities nor Judiciary were there to come in aid to protect the wounded Hindu sentiments.
After being portrayed as Lord Ram, Shiva , it was Pope Benedict XVI who inspired a bunch of sycophantic Azhagiri followers this year. The posters depicting him as Pope Benedict, complete with the ecclesiastical robe, the crown and the orb were removed from the walls of main streets in Madurai due to strict order from the Chennai High Command. Christian organizations were not ready to entertain the sycophancy of Karuna’s son.
Last year Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy obtained a court directive againstt this deriding of Hinduism in the walls of Temple Town, But the law enforcers were not willing to act as per the court directive.Still blasphemous posters of Hindu gods continue to dot the Madurai skyline.
Those DMK goons who acted overnight to remove the pope posters fearing the wrath of Church, know very well that tarnishing or abusing Hinduism can be often overlooked as long as the majority of Hindus in the area remain shameless and spineless
