Hindu-Buddhist Declaration against Conversion
Statement of Dr. Subramanian Swamy, Convenor of the Parliamentary and Legal Cells of the Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha[HDAS].
The second Hindu-Buddhist Dialogue, an initiative of Swami Dayananda Sarasvati, Convenor of the HDAS took place in Sri Lanka from 18th thro’ 20th June, 2010, and was a successful and a historic event. A large number of Sri Lanka Buddhists were represented in the meet. The first Dialogue took place last year in Cambodia.
The Prime Minister of Sri Lanka inaugurated the dialogue and welcomed the delegation of Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha Members. He greatly appreciated the efforts of Swami Dayananda Saraswati and assured all help and support from the Government of Sri Lankan side for the mutual understanding and re-construction of amity between the two faiths for harmonious societies.
On the second day of the dialogue Swami Dayananda Saraswati concluded the session and both the participants then signed the Declaration which attached herein.
