‘Pork-and-wine party’ to challenge encroachment of Islam in Paris

French police has banned a scheduled “Pork and Wine†party in a heavily Muslim populated area.
Pierre Cassen, one of the organizers said the main objective of the party was to challenge the encroachment of Islam.
In response to the party, Muslims also declared a halal food party, but police banned both of the events.
Muslims immediately blamed the right group for organizing the party, even though the right party also condemned the party for being hateful.
