Vatican City: The pope has accepted the resignation of an 57 year old Argentine bishop photographed frolicking on a Mexican beach with a woman.
Pictures were published of the bishop in the sea hugging a woman in a bikini, but he released a public statement claiming she was a merely childhood friend.
