Christian Congress leader’s slanderous statement on Sree Narayana Guru , Widespread protest
Kaloor: The protest against the slanderous statements made by DCC President VK Paulose condemning Sree Narayana Gurudevan and his followers , on the Samadhi day of Guru is now becoming widespread. The protest march, spearheaded by various Hindu organizations gathered at Kaloor, where an effigy of Paulose was set ablaze.
 Inaugurating the protest meet, Vibhag Secretary of VHP NR Sudhakaran stated that the Congress must make it clear whether the recent spate of defamation activities launched by its party members against the Hindu community was with the blessings of KPCC President Ramesh Chennitala.

 “The Congress Party is suffering from jitters over the unity of Hindu community. Hence a section of the party bigwigs, headed by those belonging to the Christian community are behind this deliberate slander,†said Advocate PC Ravikumar, Secretary (SNDP, North Branch, Kaloor). The march that commenced at Kaloor Deshabhimani Road burnt the effigy of VJ Paulose. Another protest march was held at Kumbalangi, where again an effigy was burnt.

 Others who addressed the huge gathering were President of SNDP Kaloor North VP Chandran, Group Secretary of Hindu Aikya Vedi KB Biju, District President of VHP SJR Kumar. Reports of similar demonstrations have come in from Marad also.
