Dr Krishan Bhatnagar passed away ; A Staunch advocate of Hinduism is no more
Dr. Krishan Bhatnagar, a Hindu stalwart of the highest order who spearheaded scores of campaigns against the anti-Hindu policies unleashed by the State and Federal governments of India, passed away yesterday morning at 5.30 A.M (April 22, 2013). at his son’s residence in USA. He was 86. According to the family sources the end was absolutely peaceful when he was surrounded by his family members. For the past few months Krishan Ji had not been keeping good health and the family was taking care of him.
Â
Through and through Krishan Ji was a private person, a strong Hindu, intellectual, philosopher, philanthropist, activist and a planner. He was a keen researcher and writer. He put all these attributes to use for serving the community and advancing the causes of the Hindu Samaj.
Â
I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Krishan Ji for nearly two decades. During the past five years our focus was against the robbery being committed in broad day light by the Indian establishments in the Hindu temples of India. Like the Moguls and other enemy invaders of India the Indian establishments while claiming to nurture the freedom of religion took control of the major temples of India, their landed estate and financial assets including the offerings of devotees. The loot from the temples continues to be used as Govt. revenue. This means that the Hindu Gods and Goddesses have been relegated to work horses of the Indian establishment. A significant part of this loot is being used to fund official projects including those meant to promote foreign born predatory religions in India. The intent of this communal policy is to weaken the Hindu society and its religious infrastructure. As a friend, colleague and partner he was an important part of our organization and its support system. He will be sorely missed.
Â
The Bhatnagar family has requested all friends, well wishers and colleagues of Krishan Ji, who may want to send memorial gifts, to make donations to the charities of their choice in his name instead of sending flowers, cards or other memorial gifts.
