Hundred’s paid tribute to Narain Katariaji in Newyork

Amid the family, friends and community,  in the midst of prayers and tears of all those who have grown to love him,  Narain Kataria ji cremation ceremony was completed today in New York City.

A noble soul has passed away only in body but his legacy will continue.The tributes his passing evoked showed how he touched so many hearts, not just Indians and Hindus, but many across the cross section of humanity.

Gaurang ji put it well, Kataria ji set an example of what a leader should be, no personal agenda, no hidden program of fame, no desire to go on stage.  At 85 he would hold placards in cold weather and shout for cause of India so dear to him, which two or three generations younger than him could hardly match.  His actions came out of deep love for India, Hindus and humanity. A chapter is over but it is up to us to take the mantle and continue.
