Vishwa Sangh Shibir from 26th December

Ahmedabad: Preparations are underway for the 4th Vishwa Sangh Shibir, scheduled to be held at Karnavati (Ahmedabad, Gujrat) from 26th December 2005 to 2nd January 2006. The seven day Shibir will be attended by more than 800 delegates of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) from over 65 countries across the globe, who will be discussing and presenting a detailed study on the problems faced by Hindus living abroad.

The Shibir is primarily meant for interaction among the workers involved in various Hindu activities in different countries abroad. It also gives opportunity to them for exchange of views and experiences in their work and to discuss plans for further expansion of the activities.

The Shibir will  be open to teenagers, men, and women. The focus of the Shibir this time will be on making the Sangh more aggressive outside India, said Dr. Manmohan Vaidya, spokesperson for RSS-Gujarat.

The earlier three Shibirs were held in 1990 (Bangalore), 1995 (Vadodara) and 2000 (Mumbai).

While RSS Sarsanghchalak K S Sudarshan will be present during the event, the Sangh has also invited VHP leaders to help them carve a detailed agenda for the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh in USA, UK, Australia and Canada.

The Sangh will be releasing an agenda which has been made for spreading Hindutva in other countries.
