ISI active in Maldives-Maldivian Minister

Thiruvananthapuram: Pakistan intelligence agency has extended their operations to Mali , revealed Minister of State and Principal Collector of Customs Ibrahim Rashad in press meet here.


 


Minister was heading a Maldivian delegation to visit the Vizhinjam harbour here on Wednesday.


 


Rashad told reporters that the aim of the visit was to improve the relations with the Indian Customs. Assistance was being sought from the Indian Customs to impart training to their Maldivian counterparts, he said.


 


Many Non Muslims working in Maldives came back to India recently due to the intolerance of Fundamentalist Muslims there.


 


Active ISI cells in Srilanka and Maldives will impose threat on proposed Vizhinjam project. Intelligence agencies also alerted Tamil Nadu Govt. regarding a possible attack on a major port in Tamilnadu coast.
