The main east facing door which is 11 ft x 9 ft in size is carved with Lord Vishnu’s 10 incarnations (Dasavatharam). West one depicts Sri Krishna’s life in 32 different pieces of carvings. North and south doors have Lord Shiva and Brahma. All these doors are made of Jackfruit tree’s wood which is most commonly used for temple wood works and percussion instruments because of its deeply interlocked grain of the wood which resists cracking.
