London: Hindu Council of UK condemned the attack on a sacred Hindu Temple in Trinidad by Christian fundamentalists.

The Sewdass Sadhu Hindu Temple, also known as the Temple-By-The-Sea, in Waterloo, Central Trinidad, has been the subject of a religiously motivated attack. A group of vandals had damaged the deities (icons) of Lord Krishna, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman and Goddess Durga.

It further demands that the government should arrange for the proper security of all Hindu temples in the country which are now possible subjects of attack in the future.

The Hindu Caribbean community is the UK is worried that the predator religions may harm their families back home and they would not know who to turn to for help.
