Congress Minister arrested again
Panaji: Goa Tourism Minister Fransisco Pacheco was on Wednesday arrested for the second time in as many days in connection with an extortion case and later released.
The minister, who appeared before the Crime Branch this morning, was placed under arrest and later released on a personal bond and surety, a senior police officer said.
On Wednesday, the NCP legislator was taken into custody for allegedly threatening the staff of a casino near here, and later released as he had secured anticipatory bail.
