Protest mount against an American University to Hold MF Hussain’s paintings

Appeal to Devout Hindus !  Protest against Brown University’s decision to hold an exhibition of MF Hussain’s paintings

Brown University, a member of the prestigious Ivy League, will hold an exhibition of paintings by Anti-Hindu and Anti-Indian painter M F Husain from Feb 5 through to March 26.  Focusing on Husain’s early works, the exhibition features 12 paintings created between 1954 and 1971, providing a view into the artist’s first manifestations of his many favorite subjects: life on the streets, woman and horse (together and apart), and mythological and religious personages.
 
MF Hussain has hurt the Religious and National sentiments of crores of Hindus and Indians because of his blasphemous paintings of Hindu Deities and naked Bharat Mata. More than 1,250 police complaints have been lodged against him and many court cases are currently on against him throughout India. He has been accused of outraging religious sentiments, promoting enmity between different religious groups, selling obscene material and disturbing National integrity, thereby committing offenses under several sections of the Indian Penal Code.

HJS has urged Brown University not to hold this exhibition that hurts the religious sentiments of Hindus. All Hindus must protest lawfully against such a decision by Brown University so that it takes heed and removes the pictures of Anti-Hindu painter M F Hussain in the forthcoming exhibition.
