22 Muslims & Christians embrace Hinduism

Mumbai,10th November 2013 : Vishwa Hindu Parishad ( VHP) here on Sunday organized a programme where in Total 22 Muslims & Christians from 7 Families embraced Hinduism.

Programme was organized at Masurashram in Goregaon East area of Mumbai. The Programme was organized under the supervision of VHP Zonal secretary Shri Anand Kumar Pande. All of the participants performed the Shudhikaran Yagna & recited Vedic Shlokas while undergoing the process of initiation into Hindu Religion.

As per VHP sources in Total 12 Christians & 10 Muslims converted to Hinduism. As per the VHP sources it planned to bring more people in upcoming months & there were many Muslim families who have expressed desire to embrace Hinduism.

Most of the people who embraced Hinduism belonged to lower middle class strata & expressed happiness to embrace Vedic faith. Which included one Shaukat Mohd. Shafiq Shaikh who now became Yash Parab said that in Last programme organized by VHP, My entire family embraced Hinduism only I could not do it because of some personal reasons but today in happy that I am back to the fold of ancestors.
Same happiness was expressed by Sahebi Makhdoom Shaikh who became Shravani.

In one intresting case Rizwan Mohamed Khan who now became Shri Ram Arya said that ‘ I was born in a Muslim family & Muslim locality & since childhood I heard my Muslim neighbours always talking against Hindus but when my Mother expired it was my Hindu friends mother who cared for me more than a real mother’ However when I married a Christian girl, My family insisted that she should convert to Islam which she did but despite of that I was thrown out of House by my brothers citing that I had married a non muslim. Finally I came in contact with VHP where I was invited for a comparative study between all other Religious books & Holy Vedas & I was astonished that there were several verses in Quran & Bible which preached hatred for non believers, like Surah 66.9 in Quran which asked Prophet to kill all non believers & send them to hell & be intolerant towards them on contrary to that Holy Rig Vedas in 10.191.4 clearly said ‘ Samaani va akuthi samana hrudyani va samaana vastu vo mano yatha vas u sahasti’ which means “ Oh humans! Let your pledges be one, Let your Hearts be one, Let your Thoughts be one so that you may all live together’ which touched my Hearts & thus from today onwards me & my wife will now only worship the One Supreme Ishwar of Vedas who loves all & doesn’t discriminate”.

Similiarly Ayesha Shaikh now Jyotsna Patel who converted with her daughter Kashaf now Riddhi , also expressed happiness. The VHP Zonal Secretary Shri Anand Kumar Pande said that “ Our initiative will be to bring more people back to the Vedic roots who were misled to other creeds several centuries ago.”

The Programe was attended by Dr. RamDayal Dhoundiyal, VHP Kokan Pranth Dharmaprasaar Pramukh, Shri Sushil Upadhyay (Zonal Bajrang Dal Organiser), Shri Aneesh Gopi Nair ( VHP Oshiwara District secretary), Shri Niranjan Pal ( Oshiwara Bajrang Dal Organiser), Shri P Deivimuthu (Editor Hindu Voice), Shri Vashi Mant (Regional Agniveer co-ordinator) & other VHP functionaries.
