14 Sikh families return home in Fajilka

via www.organiser.org published on July 22, 2006

A total of 67 people belonging to 14 Sikh families in Fajilka, the border district of Punjab, returned to their original roots at a function organised by Dharma Jagaran Manch recently. All these people had been allured by Christian missionaries a few years back. Now they have not only decided to follow their ancestors’ way of worship but also have resolved to help others not to be allured. Though the home-coming function had been held by the Dharma Jagaran Manch, the Sikh Student Federation and Gurudwara Singh Sabha extended their full cooperation to it. The Sikh Federation and the Manch declared to launch a massive campaign against conversion of Hindus in the region. All the speakers said the Christian missionaries are destroying the culture and civilisation of Punjab and people of the state would foil their game plans unitedly.
