Bengaluru to host 5-day mega conclave Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair-2015

Bengaluru : Showcasing the service projects run by various socio-religious institutes across Karnataka, a 5-day mega Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair-2015 to be held from December 9 to 13, 2015 at National High School Grounds, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru.

Addressing the press conference in Bengaluru, eminent economist S Gurumurthy and President of reception committee of HSSF-2015 Vijaya Sankeshwara said “The Hindu spiritual and service fair will provide a platform for spiritual and service organisations and also to motivate, involve the public to be part of the process of social transformation.”

The 5-day conclave will be expected to be attended by nearly 10 lakh citizens of Bengaluru and nearby districts, which is first of its kind in Bengaluru.

The event is being organised by Hindu Spiritual and Service foundation, Bengaluru. The event aims on 5 major themes, to foster Woman’s honour, to inculcate human and family values, to instil patriotism, to sustain environment, to conserve forest,  protect wildlife and to reserve the ecology.

More than 200 major Socio-religious service organisations will take part in this fair; will set up their stalls to showcase the service activity being run by them.

The inaugural ceremony will be held on December 9th at 4.30pm in which Governor of Karnataka Vajubhai Vala will be the Chief Guest. Sri Shivaratrishwara Swamiji of Sutturu Math, Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri Math, Sri Madara Chennayya Swamiji of Chitradurga, Sri Bhavanatheertha Bhattaraka Swamiji of Kanakagiri Math, Sri Madhu Pandit Das of ISKCON, Sri Sangananda Bante of Kalburgi, Sri Gangadharendra Swamiji of Swarnavalli Math, Sri Mukhyagranthi Jnani Baladev Sing of Gurudwar Bengaluru and few others Swamijis will be present during the inaugural. Eminent economist Sri S Gurumurthy will address the inaugural ceremony.

At the Fair, each day there will be a seminar on few socio-religious issues like ‘Temples as the centre for social transformation’, ‘Seva and Social Harmony’, etc. Each day there will be a special event called Vandana’s, to promote the social values among the youth; includes Matruvandana, Guruvandana, Gou and Gangavandana, Parisara Vandana, Yodha Vandana.

As a part of Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair, a mega walkathon will be held on December 5th, 9.30am in Bengaluru. Several competitions were organised for the School students.
