Vishu Darsan in Sabarimala
PATHANAMTHITTA: The Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple will be opened for Vishu darsan and festival on April 10 evening.
The sanctum sanctorum will be opened for Vishu darsan at 5.30 a.m. on April 14 .
Thantri Kandararu Maheswararu and Melsanthi Krishnan Nampoothiri will offer coins to devotees during the darsan time.
Devotees will have the facilities for Neyyabhishekam from April 11 to April 18.
Sahasrakalasam, Kalabhabhishekam and Laksharchana will be the special rituals to be conducted as part of the festival.
Padi pooja will be conducted on all the seven days except April 13. Udayasthamana pooja will be held on seven days except April 14.
The temple will be closed on April 18 evening after the athazha pooja and Harivarasanam.
