Vishnu Murder – 6 CPM Thugs under Arrest
Thiruvananthapuram: Six CPM thugs have been taken into custody in connection with the murder of Yuva Morcha karyakarta Vishnu.
The murder took place on Friday night after Vishnu reached his native Kannamoola.
He was attacked by a gang of goons led by Binu Babu, who barged into his house and unleashed terror. While Vishnu succumbed to his injuries, his mother Bindu and aunt Laila remain critical. They have been admitted to hospital.
Others who have been taken into police custody are Lallu, Batti Manu, Paratta Ani, Poocha Rajesh, Ranjith and Boji.
A hartal was observed in Thiruvananthapuram, protesting against the gruesome murder.
