Murder as a Communist form of Retaliation, Admits Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan
Thiruvananthapuram: The statement made by Chief Minister about murder as a form of retaliation has sent shock waves in the state. Pinarayi Vijayan said that the murder of BJP karyakarta Ramachandran was in retaliation to the murder of the CPM worker. The state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has flayed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for making an insensitive and atrocious statement following the murder of BMS worker Ramachandran in Payyannur on Monday. Pinarayi Vijayan had commented quite casually that Ramachandran was murdered in vengeance following the murder of Dhanarajan, a CPM activist in Payyannur.Â
Reacting to the statements of the Chief Minister, BJP state general secretary MT Ramesh said that a state of calm had fallen on the former’s face after the murder was committed. “The Chief Minister is trying to justify the murder. These statements made by the Chief Minister in the legislative assembly expose the callousness with which an elected head has seen the matter. Since the Chief Minister has come up with such comments, he should also clarify who the murderers are,” said Ramesh.
