Vedaratna puraskaram to noted scientist Dr.Harishchandra

Kasyapa Veda Research Foundation under the leadership of Vedacharya M.R.Rajesh selected Veda Vidwan and Scientist Dr.Harishchandra for the Vedaratna award. The award committee selected the name of Dr.Harishchandra after assessing the immense work undertook by the outstanding scientist and Scholar who completed his P.hd from Prinsten University, US. Dr.Chandra is ‘foster son – aatmeeya putra’ of late Swami Styaprakash Saraswathi, S/o Pundit Ganga Prasad Upadyaya. Dr.Chndra based Birmingham , London to spearhead the Vedaprachar abroad.


The Vedaratna puraskaram awarded to him on 27th Sunday 2011 (Phalguna krishna dashami) on the birth anniversory of Maharshi Dayananda in a public function held at Calicut, Kerala that is attended by more than a thousand people. The award compries a cash price, memento and a certificate. Each year Kasyapa Veda Research Foundaiton select aVedic  scholar/Vedaprachark for this award who contribute immensly to the society.
