Veda class at Guruvayurr

Guruvayur the spiritual capital of Kerala witnessed for the inauguration of Veda class on 8th May 2011. This is for the first time in the history of Guruvayur, Hindus irrespective of cast and gender attend a Veda class and chanted Rigveda mantras. It was the disciples of Acharya M.R.Rajesh, a vedic visionary, that started Veda class. It was inaugurated by noted Hindu scholar Ms.Prema Panduranga at Sankara Nilayam Guruvayur. It is also worth noticing that the classes commenced on the birth anniversary of Aadi Sankaracharya.

Paitrukam an NGO along with Kasyapa Veda Research Foundation conducting the one month course. Classes time is 2.30 PM to 7 PM on all Sundays. The aspirants will be taught Bhagya sukta, Sangatan sukta, Sandya vandana etc.

Acharya M.R.Rajesh is the very first person in the history of Kerala who personally taught more than 35,000 (thirty five thousand) people the Vedic sandya and Agnihotra. Even Non Hindus are also attending and practicing sandya vandana and agnihotra through out north Kerala.
