Thousands attend Chakulathukavu Pongala

Kottayam: The famous Chakulathukavu Pongala in Karthika was attended by thousands of devotees. The inauguration of the Pongala fire was conducted by Guruvayur Dewaswom board member and Gokulam group chairman Gokulam Gopalan. The customary fire from the temple to the stoves was conducted by temple president Brahmasri Radhakrishnan Namboodiri.
