Thiruvonathoni to set off today

PATHANAMTHITTA: The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has made elaborate arrangements for the customary annual procession carrying provisions and vegetables in the temple vessel, Thiruvonathoni, to Sree Parthasarathy Temple in Aranmula this afternoon. Traditionally, the provisions and vegetables for the `Onasadya’ at Sree Parthasarathy Temple are taken in the Garuda-faced Thiruvonathoni from Kattoor upstream of Kozhencherry on the eve of Thiru-Onam every year.
