Theyyam’s rich colours on display

KOZHIKODE: Colourful costumes and other flamboyant paraphernalia used for ‘Theyyam,’ the popular ritual art of north Kerala is on display at an exhibition jointly organised by the Centre for Folklore Studies, Kerala Folklore Akademi and the Institute of Handloom and Textile Technology at the Calicut University Seminar Complex. The exhibition is in connection with a two-day workshop on the preparation of ‘Theyyam costumes.’
