Swamy Athuradas attained Samadhi

Kottayam : Hindu Spiritual leader and founder of the Athurasramam at Kurichy attained samadhi on Friday early morning.  Swamiji was 98.  The mortal remains of the Swamiji would be brought to Kurichy Ashram today. The funeral will be held tomorrow.

Swamy Athuradas was the Founder President of Athura Seva Sanghom. He started the Athurasram in 1936. He had dedicated himself to the service of suffering humanity especially the sick. He started the Athurasramam Homoeo College in 1957 and a Homoeo research centre in 1962 at Kurichy .

He had also authored three books ”The ways to health” in 1948 and ”Jeevitha Darsanam” in 1994 and Ksheerapaana Chikitsa’. He had established 19 working women’s hostels in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, besides two schools and three charitable Homoeo dispensaries.
