Swami Chidanandapuri has been chosen for the maiden Madhavji Puraskaram

Kozhikode: Religious leader Swami Chidanandapuri has been chosen for the maiden Madhavji Puraskaram 2008 instituted by Madhavji Memorial Charitable Trust. The award comprising Rs 25,000, citation and plaque, would be presented to the Swami by former Chief Secretary R Ramachandran Nair on October 4, trust office bearers announced.Â
The trust has also decided to grant Rs 10,001 assistance to Cholakkunnu colony Mariamman Temple for its renovation.
