Sree Narayana Jayanthi celebrations from Wednesday

ALUVA: The nine-day long Sree Narayana Jayanthi celebrations will begin with Jyothi Prayanam (rally with the torch) from Adwaithasramam here on Wednesday.

SNDP Yogam Devaswom secretary M N Soman will inaugurate the Jyothi Prayanam at 3.30 pm. SNDP Union Chairman C V Anilkumar will preside over the meeting. The rally will cover all the 55 SNDP branches under the Aluva SNDP Union in four days, starting from Thursday.

The Jayanthi celebrations are jointly organised by Adwaithasramam, SNDP Union, Youth Movement, Vanitha Sangham, SN Suhruthu Samithi and SN organisations.

P C Thomas MP will flag off a grand Jayanthi procession here on September 7. The celebrations will conclude with a public meeting, which will be inaugurated by Dr M N Soman.
