KOLLAM: BJP state president P.K.Krishnadas
has said that a commission should be set up to study the backwardness
of the Hindu community.

Inaugurating the Deenadayal remembrance
meeting at the BJP district office here on Friday, he said the Sachar
Commission and Paloli Committee were conducting studies into the
backwardness of the Muslim community. How would it become a secular and
humane act, he said.

Human hunger has no religion, But here, a
commission was set up to study the backwardness of a particular
religion, he said. Rs 45 crore has been allocated in the Budget to
improve the madrassa education. It was part of the minority appeasement
aimed at their vote bank, he said.

He said the BJP would not
allow the government to implement the Sachar Commission report. He said
under the leadership of Devaswom Minister G.Sudhakaran concerted
efforts were going on to destroy the temples in the state.

The
crisis in the Travancore Devasom Board was the result of this
conspiracy, he said. BJP district president Kizhakkanela Sudhakaran
presided.
