Sankara jayanthi fest from April 18

KOCHI: The 1219th Sri Sankara Jayanthi Mahotsavam will begin on April 18.
The Mahotsavam will be held at Sri Adi Sankara Janmabhoomi Kshetram on the banks of Periyar at Kalady.
Sri Rudra Homa Poornahooti, religious discourses and cultural programme will be held as part of the function. Shobha Yatra and Sri Adi Sankara Vijaya Ratha Yatra will be held on the concluding day.
The Mahotsavam will conclude on April 22.
