PATHANAMTHITTA: Sahasrakalasam was performed at the Lord Ayyappa temple on Thursday.
The kalasa abhishekam was conducted during uchcha pooja under the leadership of Thantri Kandararu Rajivaru in the presence of Melsanthi Easwaran Nampoothiri.
Udaysthamana pooja, padi pooja and pushpabhishekam were the other rituals held at the Lord Ayyappa temple.
Kalabhabhishekam will be conducted on Friday and Sunday and Laksharchana will be performed on March 19.
The temple will be closed on Monday evening after athazha pooja.
