Sabarimala temple opens on Monday

PATHANAMTHITTA: The Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple will open for the five-day monthly poojas for the Malayalam month of Idavam on May 14 evening.
Thantri Kandaru Rajivaru said that Laksharchana would be conducted on May 18 and 19.
Sahasrakalasam will be performed on May 17 and 18. Kalabhabhishekam will be conducted on all the four days.
Udayasthamana pooja, Padi pooja and pushpabhishekam will be held on all the five days, Rajivaru said. The temple will be closed on May 19 evening after Harivarasanam.
