Ramayana urges to fight against evil and retain ‘Dharma’.

Aluva:Fighting against the evil and retaining ‘Dharma’ on all facets of life is what Lord Vishnu showed us through his incarnation ‘Rama’ on earth. Thus ‘Ramayana’ has got a great relevance to all Hindus in day to day life, said P.E.B Menon, RSS Kerala Vibagh Sanghchalak. He was inaugurating one month of Ramayana reciting festival ‘Ramayanamasam’ organised by Tantravidhyapeed, Aluva, Kerala.


 


The Karkidakam month (July 17th to August 16th) according to Hindu calendar is the time to recite Ramayana the epic, which is being substantiated through latest historic findings in India as the life history of Lord Rama. It is a full month of devotion that enables every devotee to fight against the challenges faced in day to day life which comes in different forms of demon ‘Ravana’.


 


Vidhyapeed president Mannarashala Subhramaniam Namboodiri, State Dharma Jagaran Pramugh V.K Vishwanadhan, Secretary Mullapalli Krishnan Namboodiri was also present at the function.
