Kummanam, a Messiah of Tolerance: Dr Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolita

Pathanamthitta: The head of Mar Thoma Sabha Dr Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolita has hailed BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan as a Messiah of Tolerance. He was addressing the audience while inaugurating the reception accorded to Kummanam in Aranmula, by the residents, cultural and environment protection groups.

Hailing Kummanam as one whose commitment to society grew along with the branching out of his abilities, the Metropolita Philipose Mar Christostum of Mar Thoma congregation, in his benediction speech said that Kummanam Rajasekharan has never been against Christians. “In fact he is an exalted Guru who has taught Christians many things in life. Having invited the seers of Christian congregation, for the reception of a Hindu leader shows the magnanimity of Hindu religion. What has been exemplified in Aranmula is for the world to emulate,” he added.

In his address to the audience, senior Tantri of Kuzheekkaattu Illom Akeeraman Kalidasa Bhattathiri said that Kummanam is a yogi who has demonstrated how a people’s leader should be.
