Know More about Adhyaathma Upanishad

ADHYAATHMA UPANISHAD:  This Upanishad explains what is  meant by spirituality in its true sense.  That is the realization of the divinity in one and all. Thus explains the Upanishads:

1. This Upanishad explains the pure spirituality  through the understanding of cosmic  divinity  as prapancha purusha .


 

2. The life force /jeevaathma, paramaathma  and various   manifestation of  the jeevaathma in different animals and other living beings are connected in the first part of this Upanishad. 

3. The absence of birth and death of the jeevaathma  as said  ‘the energy can neither be created  nor be destroyed’ is given. 

4. The description of intelligence, thoughts, memory, analytical caliber, janma vaasana  and  karma vaasana etc are correlated with the jeevaathma chaitanya. 

5. The pathway for Brahma jnaana  and that of Brahma yogi is given.

6. The pathway for yoga, ashtaanga yoga and the state of samaadhee are the subject of the second part of this book.

7.   The unity of  aathma + paramaathma + jeevaathma + cosmic divinity in one and all 

8. The path way of the yogi through relinquishing from the praarabda and luxuries  to attain the bliss of spiritual  realization is guided and

9. The actual knowledge  needed about the physical body which is the  dwelling home of the aathma  chaitanya  and practicing the good customs and rituals for  keeping the body, mind, intellect, thoughts, memory   and all other physiological parameters in suddhi (the level of utmost purity) are explained in the last part of the  adhyaathma Upanishad.










ACHIEVEMENTS OF  IISH IN THIS WEEK
: More than 5,000  people attended the  Pitru karma at NHC Mazhuvanchery, Trissur and also at Anchumoorthy temple  in Palakkad  including hundreds of Christians and Muslims, on 1st August. Following the pathway of iish, hundreds of  organizations and templesconducted this traditional thanks giving ceremony to the forefathers. A series of lectures  with excellent responses could be organized in Trissur and Ernakulam district. The Veda pracharana month concept has been extended to VEDA PRACHARANA VARSHAM commencing from Chingam (sravana) 1st to the next karkitakam (aashaadam) the response for which is excellent.







VIDUROPADESHA. Remember these  points: 81. A student rarely remembers the teacher after education,

82. The son rarely remembers the mother after his marriage, 

83. A rarely remembers the supported after achieving the goal,

84. The person rarely remembers the boatman after crossing the river

85. And a patient rarely remembers the doctor after recovery.

86. Free from illness, living with own earnings, living in  own home,  relation with good people,  livelihood from the  hard work,  fearlessness are the six great  blessings that one can get.

87. Those who are always angry, arrogant, unhappy,  doubting  nature, living on other’s luck,  are the people who live in misery.


 

88. Give up these six habits: playing the dice, taking drinks,  hunting,  using sharp words,  giving harsh punishments, wasting money.

89. Those  who  always keep revengeful thoughts, feel unhappiness, always show anger, suspect  others always, and those who are living on others  luck always live in misery. 

90. (all these  advises  are given by Vidura to his brother, Dhrutha raashtra when the latter asked the guidance in life  when he felt dejected in his life )
