Kadavallur Anyonyam from Friday
THRISSUR: The 11-day Kadavallur Anyonyam – the Vedic quiz – will begin at Sree Rama temple, at Kadavallur from November 16.
The organisers said that the Vedic quiz, in which a large number of vedic scholars will take part, has provided new dimension for the efforts to take Vedas to the common man while continuing the traditional rites.
An efficient sound system will deliver the recitals to audience outside the temple to enable them appreciate the profoundity of thoughts and charms in the manthras.
The scope is further extended through symposia, discussions and debates during the days of anyonyam.
This year, the subject of seminar will be ‘Vedic tradition and the knowledge systems of India.’
