 I am the divine stream in pursuit of truth
The incessant flow that cleanse your sins
The purity that finds truth in being polluted
For the loved ones, in healing their wounds
The eternal journey finding truth in union
Through the deserts you create with greed

I am Ganga , the sacred flow of his blessings
Through temples you abandoned in life’s race
Through all those foundations you have laid
To divert my course with mortal intelligence
And through times where you rape mother earth
To claim your might with your poor foresight

I am Ganga , on whose shore elements meet
Where you find always the holy cycle complete
From creation to the destruction of another phase
In every soul’s own journey in pursuit of truth
From mighty mountains to the ocean of faith
Caressing newborns, to carrying the half burned

I am Ganga , polluted for the sins of your times
Yet the perpetual flow that create fertile lands,
Evoke divine thoughts in those sagacious minds
As to cleanse every soul for the eternal voyage
I am Ganga , where chants are not mere myths
But the only refuge for the deceased of greed

I am Ganga …

The witness of His love as the healing water
The carrier of His tears as the cleansing flood
