Kochi – Gurupurnima Mahotsavam jointly organised by Sanatan Sanstha, Hindu
Janajagruti Samiti and other Spiritual Organisations was conducted in a very serene
and blissful atmosphere at Rameshwaram Temple Hall in Karuvelippady, Kochi. This
programme created awareness and inspired the devout Hindus present, to work for
the welfare of Nation and Dharma. This auspicious occasion was conducted at
around 130 places in Bharat.

This auspicious occasion began with Vyas Puja and puja of H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj, the source of inspiration of Sanatan Sanstha. Later, the great work undertaken by Sanatan Sanstha for the welfare of Nation and Dharma was explained. A video cd showing the highlighs of the Second All India Hindu Convention held at Goa from 6th to 10th June was also presented.

Kum. Rashmi Parameshwaran of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, spoke on the
‘Establishment of a Righteous Hindu Nation and directions for the same.’ While
speaking on the occasion, she said that our Nation and Hindu Dharma are facing
many problems today in the form of terrorism, Bangladeshi infiltration, conversion,
teaching distorted history in schools, naxalism, increase in atrocities faced by
women, ignorance towards problems faced by Hindus, blind imitation of western
culture, attack on temples and Hindu pilgrim centres, etc. But no one is doing
anything to protect the Nation nor protect the rights of Hindus. The only solution to
these problems, would be the establishment of a Righteous Nation, ie. ‘Hindu Nation’.
To achieve this, all Hindus would have to take a firm resolve and work unitedly.

The programme ended with thunderous echoing of the slogan – ‘Jayatu Jayatu
Hindu Rashtram’!
