Exhibition of Lord Ganesh’s paintings, idols
KOLLAM: An exhibition of various idols and paintings of Lord Ganesh is being organised under the auspices of the Sree Ganesholsavam Trust at the hall of Sree Uma Maheswara temple.
Gold Merchants’ Association secretary Radhakrishnan S inaugurated the exhibition the other day.
The Ganesholsavam Trust in association with Shiv Sena is organising Ganesha pooja in 10,008 houses. Ganesh idols will be taken in a procession and immersed at the bathing ghat of Thirumullavaram on Wednesday marking the end of the week-long Ganesholsavam.
The procession will start from Alamkode at 9 am and reach Thirumullavaram by 6 pm. Spiritual scholars and chief priests of various temples will lead the procession and immersion of Ganesh idols.
