Ekadasi vilakku by Canara Bank and SBT
GURUVAYUR: The ekadasi vilakku celebration at Sree Krishna temple on Sunday will be conducted by Canara Bank.
Special kazhchasiveli accompanied by melam and panchavadyam will be held in the morning and evening.
Vairous cutrual programmes at Melpathur auditorium will begin with sopana sangeetham by Janardhanan Nedungadi and the Idea Star Singer fame Sannidhanam will lead the bhakthi ganamela by Nadopasana, Kochi, in the evening.
The vilakku on Saturday was celebrated by State Bank of Travancore at the temple with special kazhchasiveli and thayambaka at the temple. SBT director T Balakrishnan, general managers Ramakrishnan, SL Hariharan, G Damodaran and DM Dathatreya Sharma and SBT staff from various parts of the state attended the vilakku celebrations. The day-long cultural programmes concluded with Ganasudha by playback singer Unnimenon.
