PALAKKAD: Haste will always diminish the beauty of everything.

In nature, everything takes its own time to fructify, whether it is a flower to bloom, climatic change or for a woman to give birth, all these need patience, according to Mata Amritanandamayi.

Amma was delivering the devotional talk in connection with the ninth anniversary of the Brahmasthan temple at the Mata Amritanandamayi Math in Puthur on Wednesday.

Amma said that in this fast paced world, man was finding it difficult to spare time for others or his family members. Many people remain glued to the computer screens and are immersed on mobile phones and don’t have time to spend time with the family, interact with friends or enjoy the beauty of the flowers in his garden.

When one is faced with tension, he tends to forget many things. When tension increases, his thinking increases. When there is a feeling that there is always god to lead us forward and to protect us, our will power will increase.

Meditation will help us decrease our tension. Destruction in the world is often an offshoot of a wrong act of an individual. Naturally one man’s mercy can change the course of the world for good.

Every individual is connected to nature, fellow-beings and animals. Naturally he will be influenced by the acts of others.

On the second day of the visit of Amma, the Rahudosha nivarna pooja and the Shanidosha nivarna pooja were conducted. The second instalment of the educational assistance to poor children were disbursed on the occasion.

RSS sarsangchalak Sudarshan among others visited the math on Wednesday.
